The CVMG (Canadian Vintage Motorcycle Group) Ormstown Rally

takes place every year at the beginning of August

at the south-west Quebec country site of hosts Eric and Ariane Pritchard.

This whole week-end of vintage motorcycle fun attracts up to 2000 enthusiasts from all over the region of Quebec and Ontario, as well as from the United States. There is a strong interest from the regular motorcycling fraternity too, the rally being a fascinating day-trip ride destination.

Visitors can see, hear and marvel over scores of superbly restored examples of the world’s great classic motorcycle marques, with ample representation from the great British companies (BSA, Norton, Triumph, Ariel, etc.), together with the many major European makes from Germany (BMW, Zundapp), Italy (Moto Guzzi, Ducati) and elsewhere.

There are also many early examples of the great Japanese companies such as Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki and Yamaha that eventually came to dominate the industry.
